Gertrude M. Argust (1891-1913) graduated from the Wilkes-Barre City Hospital Training School of Nursing (later the Wilkes-Barre General Hospital School of Nursing) in 1912. Argust was an accomplished watercolorist. Argust succumbed to pneumonia at age 23.
